A fashion designer and a mentor by heart who’s always ready to play with fabrics, colours and silhouette has mentored students to achieve perfection. Passionate towards designing, pattern making, stitching, fashion illustrations, printing and surface development. Geeta has a versatile persona. Unique sense of styling is seen across in all her work. Toosh@40 proudly showcases her art through fabric painting. The Jhumka City of Bareilly is her hometown and with dreams in her eyes she has set the ball rolling in her life to add further achievements to her profile. With experience of participating in a number of fashion shows including mentoring many she has her sole aim to make a contribution to the Design Industry as she has found her niche as a Fashion Designer for an export house too.

DEEPTI SAHNI

Toosh @40 feels privileged to have a shared vision in a collaboration with Deepti Sahni in her entrepreneurship venture which is an exquisite collection of hand-painted and block printed suits, scarfs, stoles, dupattas and sarees designed by self for over 30 years. The material spectrum generally ranges from pure chiffon, Crepe, Kota Doriya, Georgette, Silk to Chinon. The paint used are Acramine dyes-based colours on fabric which gives a smooth and neat finish to the designs. It is highly recommended to get the outfit dry washed for your first wash. The blocks used on fabrics are hand- picked. Dyes are fast and do not bleed. Over the years Deepti takes pride in its experience of showcasing its collections in exhibitions at ICW, Bhopal, British High Commission, New Delhi, Aumtara, New Delhi and La Feira Exhibition, Chandigarh to name a few. The positive responses from clients who have appreciated the creative work on numerous occasions to keep the spark alive and a strong motivation to keep the brushes take on more.

Toosh@40 takes pride in associating with multifaceted personality as our Designer who has her expertise in Tanjore Painting, Lippan Art, Glass Painting, Embroidery, Traditional as well as Contemporary Art like Mandala, Madhubani and Warli Art to name a few. As a mentor to over 200 students Purnima is not only adept in her varied artwork but an excellent skill trainer too. It definitely is the platform to not only showcase her skills but honour an independent, strong and epitome of talent as Design Consultant.

With her rich experience in different art forms Gond, Mandana, Mural Painting, Miniature Painting and Contemporary Art she has many awards at popular platforms like International art and calligraphy fair, International Art festival and Kavish Art group exhibitions in her kitty.
